"Walk The Block" is a community initiative that was created in July 2020 to help struggling small businesses in Barrio Logan. Shop owners and local vendors set up their outdoor booths all along Logan Avenue. Food, Drinks, Clothing, & Gifts all available with a chican@ twist.

Youth Fishing Derby Seminar & Campout Feb. 4-5
Learn to fish from the pros and watch demonstrations on how to properly rig a line the night before the 27th Annual Youth Fishing Derby. The fishing seminar will begin at 5:00 PM. Participants and their families are invited to spend the night for only $16 a car. Don't forget your camping and grilling supplies. Absolutely no fishing is permitted prior to the Derby.

Galentine’s Day Feb. 13
This year, Galentine's Day falls on Superbowl Sunday. Leave the football fans at home and come out to celebrate the day on the water. A relaxing gondola cruise through the canals and waterways of the Coronado Cays. This private cruise includes a complimentary chocolate truffle plate. Oceanside Museum of Art’s 25th Anniversary Gala Feb. 26
It was just over twenty-five years ago when what started as the dream of a handful of citizens became the reality of an entire community. This coming year, 2022, is the 25th anniversary of this momentous occasion. To acknowledge this historic milestone, OMA friends and supporters will be hosting a 25th Anniversary Gala at The Seabird Resort in Oceanside, California on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022.
